Being Here
Being Here is a black-and-white photobook made on Vancouver Island, at the edge of the Pacific.
The work explores living in a place shaped by water — as weather and way of life, invitation and obstacle, work and play. Across fog, rain, forest, rivers, and open ocean, we move through conditions far larger and longer-lasting than ourselves.
